At Christmas, the humble birth is the most beautiful picture: The setting, the people, the Word becoming flesh. The seeming simplicity intertwined with something that is far from simple.

It's a humble thought, when we think of that night and what it represents. God took it all, wrapped it up and brought life to the most beautiful gift, bringing hope and restoration. He turned what seemed to be ordinary and unremarkable into something incredible and extraordinary. What we can learn from that memorable night is as relevant to us today as it was then, encouraging us to be open to giving what is in our hands.
